Crop Walk To Fight Global And Local Hunger And Poverty

Minimize
Crop Walk

A few steps in Fort Worth can make a world of difference to someone around the globe. The Church World Service CROP Walk has been going on in the United States since the 1960s, and in Fort Worth since 1978. This 5K raises money to support ministries that provide food, clean drinking water, and agricultural training and equipment, as well as helping to set up micro businesses throughout the developing world. Twenty-five percent of what the CROP Walk raises stays local and goes to the Tarrant Area Food Bank for its Weekend Backpacks for Kids program.
