Our Executive Director

Reverend Melinda Veatch has served Tarrant Area Community of Churches since April of 2006. She is an ordained Presbyterian minister and served St. Philip Presbyterian Church in Hurst, Texas, as Associate Pastor for 10 years. During that time, she worked as Christian Educator, Youth Minister, Community Outreach Minister, Minister of Pastoral Care, and Adult Education Minister. Melinda is married to Glen, and they live in Fort Worth.

At Tarrant Area Community of Churches, she has the great blessing of working with pastors and members of 70 congregations as we engage in ministry that impacts students and families across Tarrant County, uplifts those transitioning out of homelessness into self-sufficiency, raises awareness and funding to address hunger and poverty locally and globally, brings diverse groups together to dialogue and address difficult issues that affect us as congregations and as a society, and gathers to celebrate and praise God for the gifts and transforming life we live as members of the One Body of Christ.

Our Organizational Administrator

Ellen Ellis has served Tarrant Area Community of Churches since February of 2010. She is a member and elder at St. Philip Presbyterian Church. She has been instrumental in implementing educational ministry in that congregation, as well as being active in a variety of other aspects of the church’s life. Ellen is married to Mike, is the proud mother of Rhiana and Brian, and is the even prouder grandmother of Brice and Braelynn. They live in Bedford.

At Tarrant Area Community of Churches, Ellen keeps it all together in the office, so we can minister effectively as churches out in the community. She oversees all office affairs, recruits and coordinates volunteers, helps direct All TACC-related events, connects with board members, and generally organizes us across the board.
